World Peace Prayer Ceremony

KV JNU organized  World Peace Prayer Ceremony in the school premises on 30th October 2009 with a delegation from World Peace Prayer Society, Japan. The delegation headed by Mr. Shoichiro Yoshida appreciated the students and their interest in spreading the message of peace.

Halloween Celebration

Under the cultural Exchange Program of Dreams and Teams, KV JNU visualized a small glimpse of 'Halloween' in the form of a skit performed in the morning assembly on 31st October 2009. A brief introduction of the festival was given to the students by the young leaders. Young leaders were dressed up in costumes of ghosts and presented a skit. to provide a better understanding of this festival, posters were made and put up on the stage.

Participation in the Children's Climate Forum Copenhagen 2009

Ms. Bipra Biswambhara of class XI C has been selected by the UNICEF to represent India in the Children's Climate Forum Copenhagen 2009 . She will participate in Children's Climate Forum Conference in Copenhagen (Denmark) from 28th Nov. 09 to 4th December 2009.

• Ms. Susan Cooke and Ms. Lesley Minerveni, Members of Youth Sport Trust, UK visiting our Vidyalaya on 19th November,2007. The British Council and the UK Sport along with the Govt. of India are developing a proposal to raise the profile of PE (Physical Education) and School Sport.

• A delegation of Australian Educators visited our Vidyalaya on 1st October 2007 regarding Linking Latitudes Conference organized by Asia Education Foundation, Australia.
   

• Mr. Geoff Howard, M.P. Victorian State Parliament, Australia visited KV JNU on 11-Oct-2007 to interact with the teachers and observe the classroom teaching & learning process & know about working system of KVS.
