Activity: Scouts and Guide

Under the guidance and supervision of able Distt. Commissioner (I) and Principal K.V, JNU and with the Co-operation of worthy staff of scout and guide our school is organizing several activities with 2 units of Scouts and 2 units of guides. 3 units of Cubs and 3 units of Bulbul the name of group of scout is Maharana Pratap and Guide Company Maharani Laxamibai respectively. We are organizing following activities as:

  1. In the month of April 22-04-11 preparatory Camp for Rashtrapati scout/guide is organized at Sector-2, R.K. Puram. In this camp our 3 scout and 3 guide participated and filled the forms for Rashtrapati Award test.
  2. Pravesh Test for new students was organized in the month of 1-july-2011 in the school level. 45 scout and 23 guides participated and qualified the test.
  3. In the month of July 14-07-2011 to 16-07-2011 Pre Rajya Puraskar testing camp was conducted at K.V. No-2 Delhi Cantt. Our 4 scout and guide participated and filled the form for the same. Further, Rajya Puraskar final test was conducted in the month of August from 1/08/2011 to 6/08/2011 at K.V. No: 122, Chandi Mandir at Chandigarh. Our 1 scout and 2 guides participated for the same.
  4. 3 scouts and guides each day on 6th and 7th August, 2011 participated for 7th Asia Pacific Regional Air/Internet Jamoree.
  5. In the month of September from 22-09-11 to 24-09-11 Tritya Sopan testing camp was organized at K.V. 1. Delhi Cantt., in which our 16 scouts and 16 guides participated for the same.
  6. Dwitiya Sopan Testing Camp was organized w.e.f. 29-09-11 to 30-09-11 at K.V. No-3 Delhi Cantt. Our 16 Scouts and 6 Guides participated the same and declared pass. According to syllabus provided by the NHQ-BS&G of India.
  1. Girl Guiding completed its 100 years so, century celebrations were conducted in our Vidyalaya. Scouts, Guides, cubs and bulbul of our vidyalaya observed 7th Nov, 2011 as flag day. The donation so, collected were sent to Regional Scouts and guides fund.
  1. On Nov 2011 Cubs and Bulbul Utsav celebrated in which speech, pranayam and yoga & Community songs like different activities were conducted.
  2. In this month January 2012 Pratham Sopan Tesing Camp will be organize. 40 scouts and 23 guides are preparing for the same at school level.
  3. Lord Baden Pawell’s Birthday will be celebrated as the thinking day on 22-02-2012.
  4. Every Wednesday in the week we organize common Parade in which students are taught Moral values and good turns. We also traine the students for their different level tests.
